In a whirlwind tour of the district Collectorate premises, District Magistrate Sonika made surprise visits to various departments under her jurisdiction, aiming to enhance public services and efficiency. During her inspection, she closely examined the record room, protocol office, and joint office, urging officials to provide better services to the general public.

Emphasising the need for prompt grievance redressal, District Magistrate instructed officials not to delay correspondence related to redressal of pending issues. She stressed the importance of treating the public with courtesy and urged officials to maintain a cordial approach when dealing with citizens.

DM also expressed her concern about the prolonged waiting time for complaint resolutions and directed senior officials to closely monitor the performance of their subordinates. Her visit brought a renewed focus on improving public service delivery and ensuring a more efficient administrative system within the district.

By taking a proactive stance and conducting surprise checks, District Magistrate Sonika demonstrated her commitment to ensuring transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric governance. Her efforts aim to create a smoother and more responsive experience for the general public when interacting with government offices in the district.
